Through the ‘90s, Nike was toning down its basketball range and opting for shrunk-down Swoosh branding. Clearly, the Air More Uptempo didn’t get the message. This version takes it one step further, using a simple white and black palette to create a bold contrast and let the large ‘AIR’ text on each sidewall speak loudest. It’s finished, as the name and text would suggest, with exposed Air cushioning that looks after your feet, no matter how high you jump for that rebound.
